INSTRUCTIONS TO PROTECT YOUR HAIR ON HOLIDAY FROM CHLORINE

Sun, sea & chlorine don't have to ruin your hair! The secret? A little preparation and the right aftercare.

Oils & conditioners create a protective barrier that:

 Coats each strand

 Repels water & chlorine

 Prevents absorption

 Locks in moisture

When applied to wet hair before swimming, oils & conditioners form a HYDROPHOBIC (water-resistant) barrier that repels pool water and chemicals.

-- PRE-SWIM ROUTINE —

1. Pre-soak your hair - Wet with fresh water.

Saturated hair absorbs less pool water.

2. Apply a barrier - Use natural oils like coconut oil or argan oil or a leave-in conditioner to coat and protect.

3. Detangle & protect - Gently detangle and style to reduce tangles and breakage.

 POST-SWIM ROUTINE

1. Rinse immediately - Shower ASAP to flush out chlorine and chemicals.

2. Use a clarifying shampoo - Remove chlorine, salt and product build-up.

3. Replenish & restore - Deep condition to restore moisture, softness and shine.

4. Never sit in the sun with chlorinated water in your hair, as UV rays accelerate chemical damage.

  1. Shower immediately with fresh tap water to dilute the chemicals.

Chlorine strips natural lipids, leaving hair dry and brittle. Always follow up with a deep conditioning mask or leave in conditioner to restore elasticity and shine

Regular shampoo cannot break down chlorine or hard water minerals. Use a dedicated chlorine removal wash or clarifying shampoo to deep clean the hair shaft.

Follow these simple steps and keep your hair looking luscious all holiday long!
